How long is eschalon

So if you like dig a game at search any corners you'll get many little rewards from your curiosity and then this game will take you a lot more time.

If you rush through it like just know the main story, which can be possible with a well build character, then it will take a lot less time. I don't know exactly how much of the game I have play for now so I can't say the time spend.

LOL, you like make things more complicated. You are perhaps not an idiot but you have a stinky and dishonest personality. I wonder why try bash a game with such perverse number manipulation close to pure lie. I bet I can finish any book in 5 hours if not less, very easy, but it's not the point of OP question.

Moreover the time to search is full part of the game, it's in the center of old school gameplay and the weakness of most modern RPG that try minimize this but end in superficiality to achieve it. It's in my opinion totally unfair and not right to not include this time.

There's a score at end, you could provide it to give an idea of how well you dig the game. But the main reason for me it is better is the overall places design, they are better filled with more stuff and with more diversity ie less fillers. A typical comparison is the first dungeon in Book 2, rats, rats, rats, not much more, no way it matches the quality of the first dungeon in Book 1 nor in Book 3.

But it's a temporary feeling, I started replay them all to refresh my memory and make a better comparison. My current feeling is there's a lot more work on pure design in Book 3, and the result is quite better, and too many players don't notice the quality increase, that's very sad for the general quality of games.

I'm about 15 hours in though that's a bit inflated because I want my character to live of the land through Foraging so I walk a lot of places that I could otherwise have quick traveled to. Don't think I'll be going for that concept in the next playthrough. The score doesn't say very much about how thoroughly you. It features a tile-built, turn-based game world where the result of absolutely every action is rolled, calculated or statistically determined.
